Accident Waiver and Release of Liability

Performance Acro is committed to conducting its activities in the safest manner possible. We hold the safety of the participants in the highest possible regard. However, parents must recognize that there is an inherent risk of injury when choosing to participate in recreational activities.

By enrolling my child in Performance Acro classes, workshops, or events, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in acrobatics, gymnastics, dance, and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, muscle strains, fractures, and other injuries. These risks may arise from my child’s actions, the actions of others, or the use of equipment.

I acknowledge that injury is possible, even with supervision and instruction.

2. Medical Fitness and Consent

I confirm that my child is physically fit to participate and has no medical conditions that would prevent safe engagement in activities.

I have disclosed any pre-existing medical conditions to Performance Acro and obtained medical clearance if required.

In the event of a medical emergency, I authorise Performance Acro staff to seek medical treatment on my child’s behalf and agree to cover any associated costs.

3. Release of Liability

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child’s participation in Performance Acro classes, workshops, events, and related activities.

I release, waive, and discharge Performance Acro, its owners, instructors, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, demands, liabilities, or legal actions arising from injury, loss, or damage, except where caused by gross negligence or deliberate misconduct on the part of Performance Acro.

4. Supervision and Conduct

I acknowledge that instructors provide guidance and supervision but cannot guarantee prevention of all injuries.

5. Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Performance Acro from any claims, costs, damages, or expenses arising from my child’s participation in activities.

6. Acknowledgment of Understanding

I have read and fully understand this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability. I acknowledge that I am signing it freely and voluntarily, intending it to be a complete and unconditional release of liability to the fullest extent permitted by law in New South Wales, Australia.

Performance Acro may use photographs or videos of participants for promotional, marketing, or social media purposes. I understand that my child’s name will not be used without further permission.
